ASSER SAINT VAL,
JEN STARK

Guerra de la Paz
Puppet masters of the contemporary arts Cuban born American collaborative, Guerra de la Paz breathe life into their sublime appreciation for form with anthropomorphic sculptures and installations characterized by vibrant colors and bucolic elegance. Inspired by the ready-made they honor contemporary culture with their references to traditional disciplines, historic themes and classic icons.
Jen Stark
From remarkably intricate paper sculptures that demonstrate the limitless potential of the medium, to large intricate drawings that evoke both vibrant microcosms and fantastical landscapes, this Miami based artist's striking and original work resounds with ideas of replication and infinity, echoing patterns and intelligent designs found in nature.
Jen Stark is a featured artist in the Studio Drive-By documentary series online now at wetheat.tv, produced by Wet Heat Project in Miami.

Asser Saint Val
With a specific and conscientious artistic voice, Haitian born, Miami based, Saint Val's work serves to document the importance of melanin, the polymer that affects skin pigmentation. Through paintings that consist of both eclectic symbolism and figurative abstraction, the physiological and sociological significance of this important human constituent is explored.
GisMo
GisMo is a Miami based photographic collective. Through staged scenarios involving elaborate costumes and topical locations they invite viewers to accept a variety of expanded social stereotypes. Directly referencing the human condition, the novel and reflective characters they create illuminate the ironic beauty of mankind.
Luis Garcia-Nerey
Garcia-Nerey's junk yard aesthetic plays its own tune with the value of art while his fascination for the eclectic medium of found wood and objects gives his work an obtainable, ungentrified, almost outsider air. Inspired by the physicality of monuments and the anthropology of materials Garcia-Nerey's oeuvre is scented with the tones of a keen cultural observer.
